| SCM developed a very stringent QAQC program which is strictly followed at all our job sites. The QC manager is responsible for the preparation of a testing log for all the definable features of the work and to educate the superintendent and the subcontractor on the contract QC requirements. The three phases of quality control (preliminary, initial, and follow-up phases) are strictly followed at the site.
A log of rework items is maintained at the site, date of correction of rework items are promptly recorded on rectification of the errors. A copy of the approved material submittals is always maintained at the job site to serve as a ready reference, of specific materials being used on the project. Most of our superintendents and project managers have attended the US Army Corps of Engineers QC program and obtained certification. SCM routinely sponsors their new employees to attend these programs. |
