SCM prides its self in the superb quality of work it delivers to its clients. The quality of work is determined by customer satisfaction and the end result of work completed. SCM is able to achieve its high results due to its Quality Control Plan working in tandem with our Off-Site and On-Site Management Plan. These plans, combined with the experience of our Key Personnel ensure that SCM stays abreast of all situations. SCM’s Key Personnel are organized in a way that ensure the ability to manage construction projects for work being accomplished in-house as well as the ability to manage and coordinate its subcontractors. SCM’s organization as depicted in our organization chart, that illustrates the ability for all key managers to communicate across the lines.
The ability to provide a quality product is developed through experience and lessons learned. SCM developed a comprehensive Quality Control Plan that encompasses each step of performance, identification of problems and monitoring unacceptable trends; and guarantees prompt corrective action will be initiated and completed. It recognizes the absolute necessity to be responsive to the customer’s needs. Quick response is dependent upon proper planning, accurate assessment of stated requirements, coordination of receipt for required supplies, and having the proper work force to perform each task. SCM has addressed each of these keys to responsiveness and is prepared to exceed the Government expectations during both the mobilization period and day-to-day execution of the contract.
The management conducts mandatory weekly staff meetings to monitor the projects. It is mandatory for all the project managers and superintendents to be present at these meetings. Progress on the job, billings, RFI status, manpower, material and equipment coordination are discussed during the meetings. In addition, SCM’s principals make frequent visits to its various job sites to review the job site conditions.
